Strawberry Fair

People pour into town for Strawberry Fair on the first Saturday in June. One of Cambridge's main commons is taken over by hordes of partiers. The roots of this festival are in the 60s when I imagine it was quite hippy-ish. Now it feels somewhat intimidating with the overwhelming stench of weed all down Station Road and a train home bursting with very drunk revellers.

I don't think festivals are for me now I don't drink very often. The littering would upset me if I went sober.
