Dare to Be Different

I had the opportunity to visit my sister in Jackson, Mississippi this week and she took me to my very first swamp. Before this adventure, my only encounters with swamps were from watching "Shrek". However, I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of them. It's dead quiet, no mosquitos to bother you, and the water was clear because of a natural  filtration system. Strangely, it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. They had a nice path that lead around the entire area and a viewing bridge that crossed the middle. This would be a nice place to come and think, or just to get away from the everyday busyness of life.
