Honoured

A few weeks ago I was taking a workshop on therapeutic crafts and teaching the group to knit.
I really wasn't sure at all how well it had been received, until today.
The attendees were doing small presentations on what they had gained from the course ( my session was just one of 12).
One woman spoke about how learning to knit had transformed her life and given her a great sense of purpose and achievement.
She had knitted a little coaster for each of her fellow attendees and decorated them with finger knitting.
I was so delighted that she had gained so much from such a small taste of the crafts that we do at the centre.
