Au naturel

I was wandering round the garden with my macro lens, looking for unsuspecting insects, when I saw something out of the corner of my eye and realised that it was Roger* sitting in his natural environment, namely a tree rather than our bird feeder. Actually, the bird feeder is probably more his natural environment these days. Anyway, I didn't have time to change my lens or camera settings but still managed to get a picture of him before he disappeared off.

A quiet day at home prior to a busy week ahead and, what with the beautiful weather today, it felt a bit like being on holiday.


*to be honest, any squirrel we see in the garden is referred to as 'Roger' these days
