Dragon Clowns?

Great day out at the Leith Dragon Boat racing today - my works team won all three of our head-to-heads, but came in 6th (out of 18) in terms of time, so juuuust didn't qualify for the 4 team final. Bah.

Still, almost worth it to see a bunch of clowns getting a safety briefing....

Long day, so beer, and then cocktail, consumed under the gazebo, contemplating just how sunburnt I've got over the weekend.

Extras are an Eider Duckling, seen on the way to the event, and the art-installation Dazzle Ship (with a knackered jogger providing some fun foreground interest).

Speaking of knackered. That's me now. And a glass of wine has just been handed to me, before the arrival of some great homemade lamb burgers, so I'll leave you there.
