The Road less Driven

A great day out with our friends A and from Holm.  Unremitting wall to wall sunshine.  I can’t remember using that phrase for a good while.

Also there was never a word about Brexit or anything remotely to do with politics.  We were lucky to catch the display song of a male Wheatear.  We met a small group of cyclists from Notts who were also enjoying the sun.  CMC had to sprint back along the track for 400 yds as she’d lost her phone -she found it in a ditch.  We then did our best to revive the spirit of the Island picnic; we had good banter and made plans for our next day out.
