Wild Kitten

Having spent yesterday talking about efforts to help restore habitats in Scotland it would have been good to be able to head out to the hills to see lynx, wolves and wildcats today.  

Reintroducing lynx and wolves is a bit contentious (that's probably understatement!) - but there are a few wildcats around, although I've only once had a decent sight of one in the wild (and I was driving at the time, with no chance to stop/grab camera). 

One day it would be good to be able to spend time watching wildcats in the wild - for now the best place to see them is at the Highland Wildlife Park.  This WildKitten is about two weeks old, and was only spotted out of its den for the first time yesterday.
