Farewell Orkney

We left Kirkwall for a stop-over in Edinburgh on route back to West Cork. We loved Orkney and were so lucky with fine weather apart from one day. Great to meet lovely blippers and special thanks to Porridge and Happy Valley for showing us places we would not have found.
There were places that kept drawing us back - the Stones of Stenness and Ring of Brodgar or course but also St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall which is a most beautiful building, especially inside.
Writing this back home where everything has grown out of control, green and rampant.
