Bromley Pageant

What a good Sunday. I spent much of today with a motor racing legend and hero. Derek Bell MBE is five times Le Mans winner, three times winner of the Daytona 24 hours, and twice world sports car champion. He has also been described as the most liked driver of his generation.

He was the star turn at today's Bromley Pageant of Motoring, the world's largest one-day classic car show. I was there for a Q and A session with him in front of an audience of car enthusiasts enjoying a day out in the sunshine.

We took some selfies, but this shot taken on my phone by one of the organisers was much kinder, showing fewer of our collective wrinkles!
