Long sunny walk

I found out this morning that my niece Laura had given birth last night to her first baby.Congratulations to Laura and Chris! His name is Harvey which I think is a great name.
I had to get some walking miles in as the Louise Smalley 40 mile challenge walk is on the 25th of this month!! I walked for 18 miles, first I walked Teddy, then dropped him off at home and carried on for a walk by the canal. As I was walking along minding my own business I got bitten by dog! He was on a lead, but I had to walk close by him as the path wasn't very wide, as I passed he went for the top of my thigh! He broke the skin and I have quite a bruise. Apart from that I had a nice walk in the sunshine listening to my audiobook The Thirteenth Tale.
