Severn Valley Railway

A better day out on the SVR you couldn't get, with brilliant sunshine and blue skies.  The valley was wonderfully green, the railway following the sparkling river as it meandered through a series of picturesque villages and sandstone houses.  All sounds a bit poetic, but it was!

Starting in Kidderminster we alighted at pretty and compact Bridgenorth for a meander, pub grub, and fantastic ice cream.  Great stuff.
