Chestnut

An experiment. Getting this to look close to what caught my eye has taken a lot of processing.


Along with the bees I've been enjoying the flourishing weeds in our garden over the last month or so: mainly herb robert, shining cranesbill (thank you, freespiral), nettle, goose grass and borage, but decided that it would be good to use the sun, on loan today from Wales and Scotland, to thin them. Two very large bags of pulled weeds and it barely shows. Please can we borrow the sun for a bit longer?
