A brief new view

Today was not what I expected it to be. My mother in law was moved yesterday into a retirement home. She will be 90 next year. The move, while a bit traumatic for her, passed off well though she had fallen on Thursday but seemed to have recovered.

However this morning she was in great pain so my first visit to her new abode - I had not seen it previously and this is the view from her balcony - was spent in getting her comfortable and arranging medical care.

A trip to A&E and with my wife bearing the brunt of the visit. She was seen within 20 minutes but after 5 hours eas kept in overnight.

So for mother in law, one night in her new flat then away again!,
