'Ah, there it is!'

It has been the final day of the US Team Trials today and we returned to Pond Mountain for the Middle Distance Race, once again planned by our very own Becky. The weather changed overnight and we've had prolonged periods of heavy rain but it didn't dampen the spirits of the athletes who enjoyed their runs.

I took a walk out to the final control for some action blips and caught this young competitor arriving from an unusual angle and spotting the control over the rock.

We are now safely back at Becky and Rob's, bathed and relaxing before dinner with the prospect of a serious weather front on the horizon. I think we will sleep tonight!
