At Lake Hawea

We parked our cars on Domain Road, Hawea, and walked back along the road to the bridge over the dam, did a right turn, and walked along the cliff tops of Lake Hawea.  We stopped for everyone to catch up, (photo), then walked another 20 minutes to our lunch spot.  From our lunch spot the 16 of us walked down Muir Road, then through Timsfield Subdivision, and onto Cemetery Road.  From there we walked back to the cars via part of the new cycle track to Hawea Flat School.

We finished with a nice cuppa at a new cafe, before heading for home.  By lunch time the cloud inversion had rolled away, and revealed a beautiful sunny afternoon.  Simply great.  -2C to +8C.  One more day before we get the rain.
