Baby faced assassin

After such a fab day yesterday, we decided to take to the water again. This time from the campsite at Symonds Yat, through the rapids and down to Redbrook. Another mighty fine day; nothing quite beats drifting down the Wye in a canoe. Spoilt with the weather again - let's hope it lasts beyond the end of the week.

This fiend was stalking the river bank, waiting to pounce on anything it could get its gnashers in to. Looks deceive though: beyond the otter like cuteness is a ferocious killer who will demolish anything and everything. We did see a pack of hounds hunting something on the river yesterday - mink seems like the most likely focus of their attention.

Home now and thoughts turn to the next adventure. Don't you just love the hols!
