New Watercolor Beginnings

I have been commissioned to do a watercolor
with the imagery of koi and waterlilies.  Although
 I have not researched the pond which is the setting
for this painting, I will do so shortly.  I am always
apprehensive when I paint specific subject matter;
I like to see in real life, what I am painting.  Wish
