He turned up around midday, hiding from me, then he perched on the branch & gave me such a sorrowful look... then he came down & showed me, he's lost his tail! It happens to the best of them when they moult in the Summer, he looked so embarrassed. He had some worms & I haven't seen him since. I do think in some cases birds are vain, esp the male birds, the female birds just put up with it, but the males sulk... Feathery xxx's
