Mayor of Beijing

The second UNESCO Creative Cities Summit opens in Beijing with the major of the city playing the courteous host, quickly followed by the Director-General of UNESCO, Minister of Education, and Vice Prime Minister of China. Not too shabby. Two hours later and I was at the podium with the tremendous privilege of representing Dundee and vaulting its achievements and ambitions to the gilt and marble rooftop. I think the Caird Hall might need a makeover if the Summit visits Tayside. Or just have it at Mennies
