I'm glad I spent it with you.

Great night out with Agnes and Adrian last night.  The food was fantastic and we had such a laugh.  Got back just after 10pm, drinks poured and settled down to a game of Cards against Humanity.  The least said about that the better.  ;-)))

We woke up to wall to wall sunshine again.  Getting used to this.  It's going to be such a let down when the rain returns.

David, Adrian and Kenny were playing golf at 2.30 so we headed to the golf club for lunch at 1pm.  Ele and Kenny arrived just as we got there.  Watched the guys teeing off at the first (again, the least said about that the better :-) then watched Andy Murray winning the first set of the final of the French open before hurrying back to get ourselves settled in the sunshine to listen / watch the rest of the match in the garden.

Pimms poured, nibbles served, suntan lotion on then an afternoon of torture watching the tennis.  Bliss :-)

The guys arrived back from the golf, D got the BBQ fired up and we had the first BBQ (and hopefully not the last) of the year.  Nephew Andrew and his girlfriend Nikki arrived (they can smell a BBQ from miles) and joined the fun.

The extras show our little shady tennis spot, Adrian standing next to the newly dug out pool, Agnes pouring the Pimms and David attracting the ladies (don't tell him but I think it was the warmth from the BBQ they were enjoying ;-)))

After being stuck in the house and in pain over the last few weeks, this weather and this weekend is just what I needed.  I feel so energised and  positive.  Might even get some proper camera time over the next few days.
