Everyone Seems to Know the Score.....

Do you remember Summer evenings when you were a kid? 

The sun set seemed to take forever, but that was good,because "going in time" was when it "got dark".     

We came in from school, had our dinner and were straight back out again. 

You could walk along the beach forever, you could sit on the wall and watch the water, and boy could we talk. 

We would talk and talk and talk and talk.  Just rubbish, utter rubbish for hours on end. 

Then the sky would start to change, it was harder to see farther.. 

And then it was time to go home.  

And every night it got later, and then suddenly.... it started to get darker sooner. 



There were so many lovely, lovely things tonight, I couldn't choose.  I loved the silhouettes of the couple, I adored the doggie on the surf board, and the golden sun settingbehind Arran..  Oh,it was gorgeous!
