Running from the sea

I was going to photograph some of my birthday cards and reflect on my 60 years of life for the mono Monday challenge theme reflection but then I forgot to take the photo!!!!!
Matt, Bella and I are in nowhere land in Wales not far from Blackrock sands. The sat nav took us the longest route but we did stop for a delicious meal in Beddgellert. All they wanted was to get to the seaside so before we emptied the car we drove down to the sea. Eventually after a wrong turn ended up driving onto Blackrock sands. Simon did this years ago in our old car and loved it. Bella enjoyed walking into the sea and then running out when the waves came!!! She got so wet but was not bothered at all. We are having a picnic there tomorrow so she can enjoy it all over again and make her sandcastle.
I've had a lovely birthday today, the sun has shone, it's been hot, I've had lots of cards, presents and good wishes from friends, and I'm with Matt and Bella. A wonderful day. Thank you everyone.
