Ice-Cream Carts

They belong to hubby's favourite ice-cream parlour.  Actually, he never sits around in the parlour, just buys his flavour-of-the-mood and then leaves.

Today, we took a very long walk.  I don't know if hubby needed one but I certainly did.  We passed by the ice-cream shop and then continued on our way till we were outside the built-up area and in the middle of the meadows.  I shot a stork (camera, not rifle) but it wasn't clear enough to be happy about, but also some wayside flowers (see extra), some horses, and a cornfield.  We were about 2/3 done when we decided to take the sound of rumbling thunder seriously and headed back home at a brisk pace.  I was especially determined to bring the laundry in before the anticipated downpour, which, to our relief, did not materialize.  On the way home, though, hubby decided to drop by the ice-cream parlour again.  It was a hot day followed by a hot night, together averaging about 25 degrees.
