Markinch

An hour or so in the office for meetings then off on a glorious day to Fife to interview for a volunteer position in our local management structure.

Our destination was Glenrothes but I made a detour to Markinch to pick up a colleague coming from Glasgow.

The train was at first 10 minutes late; then 12; then 15; then ultimately 35.

It gave me a chance to stand in the sunshine and admire this national cycle route marker,
