A day in Brooklyn

Woke very early today so up & organised by 8.00am. Had breakfast then a tube ride to Brooklyn. We have briefly stopped here before but today we wanted to explore or a bit further.

It was so hot , 30deg by lunchtime, we walked under the bridges through the park following the water and of course Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. Came across this new piece of artwork on the shore.

Walked back across Brooklyn bridge before getting the tube to Grand Central Station where we had a beer and some oysters.

Sore feet today as walked over 32000 steps :-)
