Thunderbird

This roller coaster is Thunderbird at Holiday World, one of my favorite theme parks. It's a relatively small park in southern Indiana that is home to my all-time favorite roller coaster, Voyage. This photo shows the light trails from the lights on the side of the train after launching into the Immelmann inversion.

Thunderbird is a wing coaster that opened last year. I hadn't been to Holiday World since 2013, so this was new to me! It's really fun and rerideable. My friend Doug and I got a dozen rides on it the two days we were here for HoliWood Nights. HoliWood Nights is the annual coaster enthusiast event at Holiday World. Doug and I have now been to this event four times.
