Salt marsh

Discovered a new place to walk (gently and carefully) today. Really feel very fortunate to have so many beautiful places nearby. Must take binoculars with me next time, although I already feel like a cart horse whenever I'm out with the dogs, particularly in this warm weather.

Isn't this the sort of place you'd set down your easel and paint or sketch, if you could? (I can't.) I think it's magnificent and plan to return when the tide is in and high, as much of this becomes submerged by sea.
