Purple and gold violas.

A gloriously sun and very warm day, so I did a couple of hours of gardening at the railway station.
The platform planters needed clearing of old plants in readiness for the big bedding plant session on Saturday morning with our Prospects eco group.. I also photographed the progress of our food growing area at the station as it is looking very green and productive at present.
There are cabbages, potatoes, various salad plants, swedes and herbs.
The other extra is of Maria making some delicious ginger muffins. We got the mix from Lakeland shop in Windermere. She is a star baker.
