Ma salama Cairo

A morning of packing, decisions on what to take back to Bcn and what to leave in our locked cupboard in the flat here, goodbyes to the bowabs, the Cilantro boys (Bb), and the dropping of the keys at the BC. Then the pick up car to the airport with air conditioning that clearly wasn't working in temperatures of 45 degrees. It honestly felt like sitting in an oven!

I feel for the Muslims during Ramadan with no intake of food or liquid from 3am till 7pm here. I appreciate that those living in countries like the UK and, even more so, places like the Sweden and Norway the hours between sunrise and sunset are much longer, but I seem to remember reading that you can choose whether to use the hours in your country of residence or the hours declared by Saudi.
