Blue skies and butterflies

Our friendly  hosts led us on a walk today from Langlade, the village where we're staying,  to a nearby village Nages, via the hills that overlook a huge plain and house the remains of a pre-Roman fortified Gallic settlement. Their delightful dog Dolly came, too - a long walk for little legs! (And Dolly's, har har!) Spotted lots of butterflies and moths, including the humming-bird moth whose wings are a total blur in my photo. After this morning's intense heat, it's now turned thundery.
