...the thunder stops thundering, the lightning stops lightning and the rain stops deluging - the contractors should be on site on Thursday to replace the problem area.    180 new pavers to be laid.   Preceded by all the ground preparation that obviously didn't happen 15 years ago.    

The work is only a year behind schedule.    Sometimes I feel like Peter Mayle, and Peebles feels like Menerbes!        Not, I hasten to say down to the new contractors who have been - to date - the height of efficiency.
