Purple Iris

A bright, sunny day.

It was so nice we packed the scooter into the car and headed down to Broughty Ferry promenade. We stopped for a picnic lunch in Barnhill Rock Garden, where I saw this lovely Iris. It looked like it had been freshly watered - you may be able to see tiny water drops. Just beside it was what looked like a yellow Iris (not sure though) - if you are able, you can see it as the extra.

It has been so nice coming back from a fortnight's holiday in the sun to another fortnight of sun, though with a touch of a chill east wind. Roll on full summer.
