Paper trail
The computer in my surgery was down today, so it was back to the old days of paper notes.
All the clinical notes had to be printed off and my template notes were also printed off so that I didn't have to keep writing them out.
However, I had the idea to use my template on Word (as I could still access this, just not the dental software) so that the notes could then just be copied and pasted once the system was up and running, which I felt was easier than having to scan paper notes at a later date.
It's been a busy afternoon, but it's been smooth sailing thanks to the help from the team.
Mum news:
Mum went to the fracture clinic yesterday and they're really pleased with her progress. She still has to have daily injections to prevent a dvt and also regular painkillers, but they've said if she continues to heal well, they can remove the plaster and put a brace on the leg at the next review in 4 weeks time
