Almost

A bit stiff from recent climbing, gardening and running, I went for a walk in the Estate after tea. The sun was out again after our town's newsworthy torrential downpour this afternoon, and I was almost in time to capture some fine light but not quite. Just as I almost got the depth of field right on this.

The ladies had a tough day today escaping the hell-hole that is Cergy, only to find that Dr Garmin's riverside route was under 1m of water. The bad weather in France has now turned to full-on sun which is burning them, despite applying factor 50. Thankfully they are with our very good friends in Montreuil tonight. Although they have just seven days to go, their next planned destination, Nemours, has been evacuated due to flooding.
