A return to the river bank

After over 9 months, Sarah and I are back walking along the tow path of the River Lea Navigation.  This time it was between Broxbourne and Ware in Herts.

It was a great day wandering along the side of the river with so much wildlife around and a great feeling of being out in the open.  It's amazing how, in the space of 100 yards, you can go from rural woodland to industrial Babylon.
