Brancaster Staithe

High tides covering the marsh and terns busy diving.
Had planned to head back today but the home called this morning to say mum had fallen out of bed and was on her way to the hospital. The night staff said she had told them she thought she would get up to make a cup of tea. Luckily nothing broken so by the time we got to Norwich she was back and tucked up in bed. I asked her where she had been for her day trip today .... 'To London', she said. 'To see a show?', I asked  ... 'Yes' she said ... it was very good apparently. By the time I left it was too late to head north so I went back to the house and caught the sunset.

It seems very strange to have scattered the ashes of her husband of over 60 years yesterday and for her to have no awareness of any of it.
