A step in the right direction.

After a crazy day at work I was not happy when it took me over two hours to get home. The traffic was that bad karen had to drop me off and I walked the last bit. I got home and had to head back out as someone was meeting us at the house to quote for new stairs. I left in such a rush I forgot to pick up the paperwork I needed so I had to call dad to bring it up - Dad to the rescue again!
We want to move the stairs back slightly to make more room for the front door and also to reduce the steepness of them. Dad had already worked out all the technical stuff and the man seemed to agree Dads idea would work, so hopefully his quote to do the job is reasonable.
