Along the road home

Headed out this morning for home and found the road was closed. So we took the scenic route our only choice. Anyway, this beautiful flower was blooming all along the road we were on. After passing is so many times I asked my husband to stop and I grabbed this shot. Only one I took today. The trip was long and it rained when we were on the country roads. I do not know what it is but plan to look it up.
