Clouds!
For the first time in ten days there were clouds in the sky. The day started with a white frost, but the air temperature was 5.4ºC. It kept climbing until early afternoon when it reached 15º. A nor’wester was blowing off the snow, but it was warm. It was a great day for opening up the house and washing woollies.
This evening after dark I went outside to look at the stars and was just in time to see a golden crescent moon dipping towards Ben More, in the same position as the bottom of this photo. There was no time to set up the tripod.
