Dam! I never knew that.

This is the dam in Rockford, Michigan. Founded in 1865, the city was named for the rocky ford in the river where people crossed. Rockford is known the world over  for the two celebrities who lived here:
- Dick York, who played Darrin Stephens on the 60's sitcom Bewitched
- John Kiedis, father of Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis, and also an actor in Meatballs.  Actually it was Meatballs 2, (pending verification.)
