Summer picnic... in the shade

So we've been so busy we haven't spent much time in the sun and after work we're busy in the house packing. So we thought a picnic in the sun would be nice. There were two picnic benches - one in the shade and one in the sun - which did we sit on? The one in the shade. That makes no sense to me. I had goose-pimples because it was chilly in the shade! Ho hum... must obey your husband :)
