If you go down to the woods today...

In the morning I went to check out how the cattle are doing on the new pasture. This view reminded me of the old song, although this is not exactly teddy bears' picnic.

Spent most of the day cleaning the silage pits. They need some repair, so the silage cut is not quite near yet. Luckily the heifers don't need the silage to be cut as early as milking cows would.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that it rained at night (after about 10 days with no rain) and it has been a very windy day.
