Took this ill boy down to the meadows festival for some fresh air and time away from CBeebies.
The fire engine was a definate hit, (although he was determined to go inside despite the doors being locked).  He got to sit in the police car however which he thought was very comfy. 
The only way for us to get him away from the emergency services was to have a ride on the Merry go round with him.
After that, I think he agreed that, yes, he was too tired to stay any longer so climbed back into his buggy and vegged out some more.
