Otter Hunt

The best thing about the car has been reinstating our post school adventures. Some of them we could have done by bike, but it rarely happened: the herding,cajoling and sheer effort required after a day's work/school often meant that I ran out of energy.

We used to do preschool adventures too, but we've got a bit lazy and teenagery and not training for a marathon anymorey. Our bad... I must rectify: I bet if I surprised them with a call for a forest breakfast barbecue they'd jump out of bed.

We didn't see any otters this time. We did see slides and spoor though. Very definitely not dog paw prints. Quite different ;)
