Butterdean Woods

This morning my friends and I went to explore a woodland we had not visited before - Butterdean Woods. These woods near Gladsmuir in East Lothian are run by the Woodland Trust. On a day when there was dappled sunlight filtering through the trees they were enchanting. Nevertheless it is very difficult to capture the atmosphere of the lighting and I think this impressionist capture done by moving the camera upwards during a shot is perhaps the most successful of my images today
