Garden of England
You can see why Kent is called the garden of England when you have this on your doorstep.
Later walk than usual with Emmy as too warm for her today. Had an extra long one though to make up for it.
There were so many birds out this evening. I noticed:
Herring gulls
Lesser black backed gull
Goldfinches
Green finches
Sparrows
Blackbirds
Wood pigeons
Sky larks
Parakeets
Crows
Rook
Swallows
Buzzard
Kestrel
Mute Swan
Mallards
Blue tits
Chaffinch
Cuckoo (heard but not seen)
And lots of LBJ's (that's a technical term, little brown job)
Emmy was on one at the start tried to chase a three legged cat and was eating all the fox poo she could get her grotty chops round, but she soon snapped out of it.
Few chores done and settled down for Wentworth Wednesdays, my favourite time of the week.
