The Singer

After painting interior walls for 4+ hours, treated myself to an hour of beautiful weather on the prairie this afternoon. The dickcissel continue to sing loudly as this one was doing. I saw a couple of dickcissel carrying nesting materials.

Observed two birds which a believe are upland sandpipers, at least that's what I called them in my ebird report. Upland sandpipers are more rare with an estimated total population of 750,000. If I'm incorrect on ID, someone will tell me. I uploaded a poor but passable for identification purposes photo to ebird.
