Toddler logic

Coming home from daycare, Olivier had a lot of demands. First, he wanted to put on his bathrobe. Then, once the robe was fastened, it wasn't right, so he took it off (after crying of course) and picked up a vest. That wasn't right either because once it was zipped up, he had to take it off. So then he went and got his cape (for the car, so he doesn't get cold). But the thing is the cape doesn't close completely, because, well, it's a cape. Hence the huge tantrum.

Sometimes, I tell him "Olivier, use your words, tell me what you want". He doesn't exactly answer, probably because his answer would be something along the line of "no, Maman, auto, pimpon, qui (cookie), gur (yoghurt)" and I'm not sure how much help it would be.
