Garden Maintenance

The estate agents are sending someone to re-photograph the house and garden today, prior to a relaunch on their website, so we (my brother, Merv and I) had a garden tidying session yesterday.  It was actually looking better than I expected and was benefitting from the colour and forms of the flowers.  It feels quite sad, really as this was a real plantsman garden and there are lots of gems still tucked away in the flower beds and in the Alpine bed but maybe not for much longer as the garden thugs soon take over!  We'd really like to see the house sold now.  The people we were holding on for and who seemed so keen just disappeared without even telling us they'd withdrawn.

A busy day, starting with Tai Chi, mums garden and then camera club, where we had an excellent evening sharing photographs with Sally Sallett from Wakefield camera club who came to talk to us about `awards and distinctions'.
