Past its best

After a grey but mild morning the day deteriorated into a wet, grey but mild day.  Nothing heavy - just persistent.  The fog seems to be settling in too so may make for some good pics tomorrow morning.

Left work a bit early in order to meet the chimney sweep at home at 3.00pm.  He turned up at 3.35 pm, very apologetic.  Job was done quickly and efficiently so that ws good.  Quick dash into town then to do a couple of chores - pick up whizzy new hairdrier from salon (which I'm seriously excited about!) then drop the vacuum off at Mr Fixits who were kind enough to lend me another one so I can do some vacuuming over the weekend.  And yes - I'm seriously excited about that too.

Picked kiwilizzie up in town then headed back home for an evening of chatter and more chatter.  Seemed like a good reason not to even think about doing any school work :)  There's always the weekend to do that - if I can manage to squeeze it in between vaccumming and hairdrying that is ;)
